POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial analysis & reporting in addition to the preparation and maintenance of the books and records of multiple entities. The Senior Accountant provides management with financial information for forecasting and budgeting as well as assists with external audits and various projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs for all entities assigned
- Assist the accounting analyst in recording daily cash receipts & managing cash in banks accounts across several entities.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with supporting detail for all entities assigned
- Prepare monthly external financial statement package for reporting purposes
- Follow our company’s established accounting processes
- Identify, communicate, and develop process improvements
- Analyze financial data and research various accounting issues in order to ensure accuracy
- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
- Assist with corporate forecasting and budgeting
- Assist with miscellaneous projects or tasks as assigned
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience; CPA/MBA preferred
Experience: 2 - 4 years of relevant experience; construction industry billing a plus
Technical Skills: Intermediate to Advanced Excel; knowledge of Sage 300 software a plus
Driver’s License Required: Yes

This position offers a salary range around $92,000, depending on experience.
