Position Summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Accounting Manager to join our Cigna Investment Management (CIM) Accounting organization. This highly visible leadership role combines technical investment accounting expertise with process transformation, technology enablement, and operational excellence responsibilities.

The successful candidate will oversee accounting and financial reporting activities for Cigna's partnership investment portfolio while helping drive the evolution of the CIM Accounting operating model. This role will partner closely with Investment Front Office, Investment Operations, Technology, and Global Operations teams to enhance processes, implement new technologies, and improve scalability, efficiency, and reporting quality across the organization.

This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of investment accounting through leadership, innovation, and the implementation of next-generation accounting solutions.

Qualifications

This position supports Cigna Investments, Inc., an investment adviser registered with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).  The successful candidate will become an Access Person of CII required to comply with the personal trading requirements and restrictions contained in CII’s Code of Ethics.  These requirements and restrictions apply to the Access Person and all securities transactions in accounts in which an Access Person has a Beneficial Interest.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 121,100 - 201,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
