Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client service team in our accounting services department. As a Senior Accountant, you will immediately begin building and managing relationships with clients. You will have direct contact with clients on a regular basis. Same-day travel for work at the client's office, meetings, or seminars is required at times. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting required 5+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience required, preferably in public accounting or a Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously preferred Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required; QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred General tax knowledge related to small business sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax preferred Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online required Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required Experience with accounting software and automation platforms such as Bill.com, Saasant, Ramp, and similar tools preferred Strong leadership, customer service, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to interact effectively with all levels inside and outside the organization Proven ability to take initiative, anticipate challenges, develop solutions, exercise sound judgment, prioritize tasks, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment Relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting required Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously preferred Relevant work experience such as 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or CAS environment Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel Experience with accounting software platforms such as Bill.com, Saasant, Ramp, etc. preferred. Robust skillset as it relates to: Leadership, customer service, verbal and written communication, organization, etc. Ability to: interact with all levels inside and outside the organization, take initiative, anticipate problems, and formulate resolutions, exercise good judgment/decision making, prioritize and multitask, work independently, etc. This role is based out of our Sacramento office. A hybrid work schedule is offered after the training period, with three days in the office and potentially two days remote; however, this is dependent upon client service needs.
