Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Sr. Accountant supports the planning and direction of the company’s accounting operations. This role helps ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintaining accounting operations and bank reconciliations.
• Support the review of AP and AR transactions.
• Assist with maintaining documented accounting policies and procedures and support implementation of internal controls to minimize risk.
• Support the production of periodic financial reports and ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Collaborate with external auditors and supply required documentation for annual audits.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
• 3–5+ years of related experience required.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Strong management and supervisory skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills
• Proficiency with accounting and tax preparation software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Prolonged periods of desk and computer work
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
• Ability to travel when required
