SAP Procurement Lead – S/4HANA MM + Ariba

Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Senior SAP Procurement Lead – S/4HANA MM + Ariba, bilingual in French and English, to join a major ERP transformation program.
The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of end to end procurement processes across SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba, including operational procurement, sourcing, supplier management, contract management, purchasing, goods and services receipt, and integration with invoicing processes.
The individual will act as the functional lead for the Procurement domain and work closely with Finance, Project Management, Integration, Data, Security, and Architecture teams to ensure an integrated, efficient, and sustainable solution.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.             Lead the functional design and implementation of procurement processes across SAP S/4HANA MM and SAP Ariba.
.             Lead Fit to Standard workshops and translate business requirements into standardized and sustainable SAP processes.
.             Define target end to end procurement processes, from demand identification through sourcing, contracting, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and financial integration.
.             Design purchasing processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, goods and services receipts, and invoice matching.
.             Define sourcing and strategic procurement processes using SAP Ariba capabilities.
.             Design supplier onboarding, qualification, performance evaluation, and supplier relationship management processes.
.             Define supplier contract lifecycle management processes, including creation, approvals, amendments, renewals, milestones, and expiration management.
.             Design approval workflows and procurement controls aligned with organizational policies and delegated authorities.
.             Define procurement master data requirements, including suppliers, purchasing organizations, purchasing groups, goods and services categories, and other reference data.
.             Ensure integration between Procurement and SAP Finance/Controlling, Project System/EPPM, Asset Accounting, and other relevant SAP capabilities.
.             Define procurement processes supporting projects, capital expenditures, services, and operating expenditures.
.             Ensure integration between purchase orders, project structures, cost objects, commitments, budgets, and financial postings.
.             Work with Finance teams to design appropriate three way matching, invoice verification, accrual, and financial reconciliation processes.
.             Define reporting, dashboard, KPI, spend analysis, and supplier performance requirements.
.             Work with Integration teams to define interfaces with external platforms, suppliers, financial systems, and other third party applications.
.             Define the functional integration between SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba and ensure clear ownership of processes and data across the platforms.
.             Identify gaps between current business processes and standard SAP capabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.
.             Challenge customization requirements to promote Fit to Standard and Clean Core principles.
.             Document design decisions, target processes, functional requirements, business rules, and configuration requirements.
.             Participate in the definition, cleansing, mapping, validation, and migration of procurement and supplier data.
.             Define functional and integration test scenarios and support SIT and UAT activities.
.             Support defect resolution and ensure the functional quality of the Procurement solution.
.             Contribute to training, knowledge transfer, deployment readiness, cutover, and stabilization activities.
.             Act as the SAP Procurement functional authority for the client, CGI teams, SAP, and technology partners.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.             Professional fluency in both French and English, written and spoken.
.             University degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
.             Minimum of 10 years of relevant SAP experience, including significant experience in procurement and purchasing.
.             Minimum of 7 years of hands on experience with SAP MM / Procurement, including significant solution design responsibilities.
.             Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement / Materials Management.
.             Significant hands on experience with SAP Ariba and its integration with SAP S/4HANA.
.             Participation in at least 3 major SAP implementation or transformation projects, with significant responsibility for the Procurement domain.
.             Extensive experience with Procure to Pay (P2P) processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, goods and services receipts, invoice verification, and procurement controls.
.             Strong experience with Source to Contract (S2C) processes, including sourcing, supplier management, and contract lifecycle management.
.             Strong understanding of the integration between SAP MM/Procurement and FI/CO.
.             Strong understanding of procurement integration with SAP PS/EPPM and Asset Accounting.
.             Experience with supplier master data, purchasing organizational structures, procurement categories, and reporting.
.             Experience designing approval workflows, purchasing controls, and delegated authority processes.
.             Experience leading Fit to Standard workshops and designing target business processes.
.             Ability to translate complex procurement requirements into simple, standardized, and maintainable SAP solutions.
.             Experience with functional testing, integration testing, and UAT.
.             Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills.
.             Ability to work effectively with business, functional, technical, and executive stakeholders.
.             Services under the engagement must be performed from within Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
.             Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition / RISE with SAP.
.             Strong experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing.
.             Strong experience with SAP Ariba Contracts.
.             Experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP).
.             Experience with SAP Ariba Buying and Guided Buying.
.             Experience with SAP Business Network.
.             Experience with SAP Ariba integration technologies and SAP Integration Suite / SAP BTP.
.             Experience with services procurement and complex service purchasing processes.
.             Experience with procurement for capital projects, construction, engineering, or professional
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000 -$110,000.This role is an existing vacancy.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
