SAP Consultant - Materials Management/ Direct Procurement

Introduction

This role involves working as a mid-level SAP professional specializing in ERP implementations for SAP Material Management in Direct Procurement within the Automotive/Manufacturing industry. The position focuses on the requisitioning to ordering process, including both new development and production support activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–4 years of SAP MM / Direct Procurement experience.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Experience working with functional specifications and software engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Prior work experience in the Automotive/Manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the Automotive industry.
• Knowledge of Ariba and ABAP.
• Experience working with ABAP, PCF, and Fiori developers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Work directly with business partners to deliver application changes.
• Perform requirements gathering, business analysis, fit-gap analysis, system testing, and documentation.
• Create use cases, user stories, and other requirements/specifications artifacts.
• Provide functional specifications and collaborate with software engineers specializing in ABAP, PCF, and Fiori.
• Conduct and support testing on the SAP platform, including functional, security, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Support cutover, data profiling, extraction, and cleansing activities.
• Analyze integration requirements and work with legacy non-SAP systems.
• Production support of launched functionality.
