Procurement Category Manager

Job Title:  Procurement Category Manager 4
Location:  Remote 
Salary Range:  $60/hr to $62/hr on W2 

Introduction

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to support the execution of fiber and telecom infrastructure supply chain programs. In this role, you will help manage supplier capacity, track critical deliveries, monitor project demand, maintain reporting and dashboards, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and support supplier communications and escalation management. You will play a key role in ensuring that fiber materials, telecom equipment, and installation resources are available to meet data center deployment schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals, and other technical data.
• Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
• Knowledge of supply chain management.
• Maintain demand and capacity forecasts, track supplier performance, and support executive reporting.
• Manage meeting cadences and action items, identify delivery risks, coordinate cross-functional communications, and help drive process improvements.
• Work closely with sponsors on several key projects and strategic initiatives.
• Regularly collaborate with both suppliers and internal client stakeholders to maintain alignment, address challenges, and ensure projects are successfully executed and deliver the intended outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field required.
• 8-10 years of finance-related experience required.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, project coordination, or telecommunications infrastructure.
• Strong Excel, Power BI, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with suppliers, planning teams, engineering, construction, and procurement stakeholders.
