The ReStore Logistics and Procurement Manager (“L&P Mgr”) is responsible for the overall strategic plan and management of ReStore logistics, warehouse deliveries schedule, and transportation as related to fleet management. The L&P Mgr oversees overall customer service to all restore donors and potential donors. The L&P Mgr works for and closely with the Director on the procurement of new vendors, corporate donors, and their relationship with Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake (“HFHC”) and work closely with advancement to potentially procure new corporate donations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities |
Call Center Management
- Supervise and work with the call center staff to ensure that donation pickups are accurately scheduled by answering both the donation line and responding to donation emails through the truck routing program we use.
- Adjust routing throughout the day as necessary while communicating all changes with all necessary parties.
- Ensure that all donors receive proper customer service from all ReStore staff. Investigate (when necessary) all claims of improper treatment of donors and clients.
- Resolve problems concerning truck transportation or customer issues.
General Operations / Staff Training & Management
- Collaborates regularly with support management team: ReStore Director, ReStore Area Manager, Special Projects Manager
- Support ReStore Director and ReStore Area Manager with accountability processes that encourage staff responsibility for their job performance and maintain positive morale
- Provide operational leadership support to ReStore Managers to maintain working knowledge of their sales floor and stockroom
- Work with ReStore Managers and Assistant Managers to provide corrective training for the following, but not limited to, areas as necessary: customer service, how to turn down a donation, how to request fuel donations, workers compensation policy and procedure
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with other business systems or processes, such as order management, customer sales, or accounting
- Provide customer service-oriented decision making in a professional manner
- Maintain reports, process documentation, training and safety records
- Support HFHC and ReStore’s strategic plan for growth and maximize ReStore profits
- Possess attention to detail, work accuracy, and organization of job duties
- Schedule and attend weekly meetings with ReStore management and Managers regarding store status, growth opportunities, and recommendations for operational efficiencies
- Collaborate with other team members within the affiliate on procurement opportunities
- Develop and support procurement training for the ReStore staff and volunteers
- Establish and maintain staff culture that aligns with HFHC’s mission
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and unexpected shifts in priorities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Financial Management
- Financial experience required including the ability to create and monitor budgets and perform complex analyses of revenue, expenses and net income
- Provide input on all parts of the annual ReStore budget
- Track monthly monetary estimates on procurement acquisitions
Donor Relationship Management/Procurement Development
- Maintain high levels of customer and donor service
- Track weekly calls, appointments, and visits to current and prospective donors
- Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual goals with approval from the Director
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, individual and corporate donors, and others to enhance relationships and increase the quantity of repeat donations
- Responsible for securing ReStore donations in collaboration with individual ReStore Managers
- Curate, grow, and maintain relationships with other affiliates to create and foster the sharing of corporate donations
- Ensure that all donors receive accurate donation receipts
- Provide recommendations to ReStore Management for additional profit opportunities
Qualifications/Licenses/Certificates and Other Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required, AA or BA degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years total experience in logistics and/or procurement; preferably in retail or business management with emphasis on sales, marketing, and customer service
- Management Experience with the ability to lead, train, and manage staff and engage volunteers in a positive manner to maintain a highly motivated organizational atmosphere
- Working knowledge of POS operating system
- Conflict resolution experience
- Valid driver's license and possesses personal transportation to travel to various store locations in Anne Arundel, Howard and Baltimore Counties, Baltimore City, and other areas in the Baltimore-Washington region
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with knowledge of logistics software (i.e., Vonigo preferred)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background, driving record check, DOT physical and drug screening test, are required.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Typical schedule Tuesday - Saturday 9am-6pm; or flexed to serve the organization
Full Time position; 40 hours per week
