Job Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as the Controller for our restaurants. The
position will be responsible for overseeing financial performance, including budgeting,
financial reporting, and cash management. The role involves collaborating with various
departments to analyze financial data, and provide recommendations for improving
profitability and operational efficiency, and oversee the cost centers and financial results
for multiple corporate entities. The Controller will supervise an accounting staff and
ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. While the role is primarily based in
Davenport, IA, there is flexibility for some remote work. The Controller reports directly to
the CEO, for accounting, financial support, accounts
receivable, accounts payable, and reporting.
Qualifications
•Restaurant or Hospitality experience would be a huge asset
•Must be a Team player comfortable in a Hands-on environment
•Strong financial management and analysis skills
• Experience in budgeting, cost controls, financial reporting, and cash
management
• Proficiency in financial software and tools
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related experience
•CPA designation or relevant professional certification is a plus
