The Quality Internal Auditor is responsible for reviewing, developing, and assisting in maintaining internal audit records and preparing internal audit reports. Review manufacturing process records to ensure that customer and regulatory requirements are met. Review, create, and maintain daily production files, which include all production processing, quality paperwork, and other site-wide documents for other departments.

Assist in the supervision of all quality assurance functions, implementation, development, audit, and maintenance of the plant’s quality and food safety systems. Also including HACCP to assure compliance and customer satisfaction by monitoring personnel, training, and maintaining order in technical expertise. Provide technical support/resource for quality assurance personnel, production, and other plant departments.

Compensation- $27.00 - 29.00 an hour

Responsibilities:

Quality and Food Safety: Development, implementation, and maintenance of all applicable elements of the POM Wonderful Quality and Food Safety systems in order to assure compliance.

Communication skills: Persuasive and productive communication skills to appropriately communicate directly with operational personnel, coworkers, and management.                                   

Work quality Expectations: Maintain a high-quality process to ensure the product is safe and of high quality.                                                                                                                                                         

Teamwork: Promote communication, involve staff and employees, support staff, communicate objectives, and develop employee potential. Assist in leading problem-solving efforts through team meetings and on-the-floor leadership to effectively influence positive change and continuous improvement.

Auditing: Daily auditing of site-wide records, which include, but are not limited to, quality and production records. Support the Internal Auditing Program.

HACCP: Responsible for understanding and supporting the sustainment and development of POM Wonderful’s HACCP Food Safety Program.

OTHER IMPORTANT DUTIES:

Responsible for reviewing all quality policies, procedures, and forms annually or as changes are needed.

Assist in documentation control, which consists of but is not limited to approval, annual review, and revisions.

Makes recommendations for department enhancements to the Quality team and commits to other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

At least having a high school diploma or a recognized equivalent, such as a General Educational Development (GED) certificate, and experience in a leading capacity, with a specific emphasis in food safety, preferably within a production/manufacturing setting.
