Job Summary
TEMPORARY PROJECT WORKER -ENDS: DECEMBER 31, 2026 - Under general direction knows fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures to provide administrative support to the plant personnel with a wide emphasis of clerical and office duties. Assignments are generally limited in scope, contain fairly routine to moderately complex duties and are performed within a procedural framework established by higher-level employees. TEMPORARY PROJECT WORKER -ENDS: DECEMBER 31, 2026
Key Accountabilities
•Greet employees, visitors, and customers while assisting with routine inquiries and requests providing basic customer service.
•Answers multi-line telephone calls, providing routine information, taking messages, and routing calls to the appropriate destination, makes announcements over the public address system.
•Maintain, update and retrieve files, forms, inventories, logs, and other documents, receives, sorts, and distributes mail.
•Enters data into and retrieves data from standard business software, databases, and online systems, posts a variety of information on forms, records, reports and files.
•Assists in gathering information and preparing documents for other staff members, prints, and photocopies documents and/or delivers documents to employees and management team.
•Use standard office equipment and computer applications for communication.
•Set up and maintain filing system.
•Prepares basic correspondence, spreadsheets, presentation slides, and other business documents on applicable computer applications.
•Orders, maintains, and distributes a variety of office supplies and equipment.
•Develop and maintain computerized databases and spreadsheets used in tracking various projects, etc.
•May assist specific tasks in the training of personnel.
•Coordinate the maintenance and repair of department buildings office, equipment, and vehicles, telephones and phone lines.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.
•Requires basic accounting methods and techniques and the ability to apply both in problem solving.
•Requires problem solving skills and basic knowledge of financial methodologies and techniques.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
•High School degree required. Three or more years in general clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience will substitute for minimum qualifications.
Key Metrics
•Maintains, monitors, and processes invoices and over-sees past due accounts.
•Process expense reports and accounts payable as outlined in Company policies.
•Maintain plant accounting activities that may include, but is not limited to p-cards, accounts payables, coding and vendor set up required to support accounting systems.
•May assist in budget planning and control of budget reports.
•Maintain and or perform keeping of accounts and records, recording of reimbursements, verifying and entering of detail of all transactions.
•May assist in contacting vendors and soliciting bids.
