Position Summary

The Project/Financial Analyst for Renewable Concepts, LLC reports directly to the BU Controller. The Project/Financial Analyst serves as a business partner to project management and operations by providing financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, billing support, and project controls expertise. This position helps ensure projects are executed profitably by monitoring financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, supporting forecasting activities, and driving data-based decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Position Qualifications

Understanding of the project management process, including estimating, cost management, schedule development, change management, project controls, project administration, billing, and subcontracting.

·         Ability to identify, assess, and communicate project risks.

·         Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with remote project teams, accounting, and management.

·         Must be self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements in a fast-paced environment.

·         Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, both written and oral.

·         Strong organizational skills.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: 

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 

·         1 - 3 years of work experience in finance analytics, project accounting 

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel 

Preferred Skills: 

·         Work experience in the construction industry 

·         Experience with Power BI, Costpoint, Microsoft Dynamics 

·         Certified Public Accountant of similar certification
