Comptable de projet, vous devrez :
Lire et comprendre les contrats liés aux projets et la documentation relative aux sous-traitants afin de s'assurer que les procédures de mise en place des projets sont conformes aux conditions contractuelles.
Recueillir, rapprocher, demander l'approbation et traiter tous les paiements des sous-traitants liés au projet, les dépenses générales, les allocations de coûts salariaux horaires internes et toutes les autres transactions financières de manière opportune et précise afin de respecter toutes les conditions de paiement du contrat.
Assembler les dossiers de facturation des clients conformément aux procédures et processus d'approbation afin de s'assurer que les clients reçoivent les factures en temps voulu et que les paiements sont reçus conformément aux conditions contractuelles.
Maintenir des données précises et opportunes sur les flux de trésorerie, tant actuels que prévisionnels, par rapport aux flux de trésorerie prévus dans le modèle financier (en fonction du projet).
Assister le chef de projet dans la préparation des rapports mensuels pour le propriétaire/consultant et les rapports internes.
Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?
Vous avez suivi une formation postsecondaire en administration des affaires ou en comptabilité.
Vous êtes capable d'identifier correctement des situations financières et de produire des solutions logiques pour soutenir une équipe de projet/un secteur d'activité.
Vous pouvez faire preuve de compétences organisationnelles, interpersonnelles, de communication, de résolution de problèmes, de prise de décision et d'analyse, ainsi que d'une volonté marquée de travailler dans un environnement ouvert et de coentreprise.
Vous êtes capable de travailler sous pression et de gérer des délais serrés.
Les logiciels étant largement utilisés dans les processus de l'organisation, le candidat doit avoir de bonnes compétences informatiques et avoir l'habitude de travailler avec des logiciels tels que Word, Excel, et être à l'aise pour utiliser des logiciels de gestion : Word, Excel, et être à l'aise pour apprendre des logiciels internes.
Excellente maitrise verbale et écrite du français et de l'anglais.
Être admissible à l'autorisation de sécurité de niveau secret et très secret selon les normes canadiennes.

You, as a Project Accountant, will:
Read and understand project related contracts and subcontractor documentation to ensure project set up procedures are aligned with contract terms and conditions.
Collect, reconcile, seek approval and process all project related subcontractor payments, general expenditures, internal hourly payroll costing allocations and all other financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner in order to meet all contract payment terms.
Assemble client billing packages in accordance with approval procedures and processes to ensure client is in receipt of billings on a timely basis and payments are received as per contract terms and conditions.
Maintain accurate and timely cash flow data, both current and forecasted as compared to projected cash flow assumed in financial model (as applicable to the project).
Assist the Project Manager in preparing monthly reports for owner/consultant and internal reporting.
Is this the right role for you?
You have post-secondary education in Business Administration/Finance along with 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
You have the ability to correctly identify financial situations and produce logical solutions to support a project team/business area.
You demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and analytical skills as well as a keen willingness to work independently and on-site at project locations.
You demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
Related experience working in a construction environment would be an asset.
Must be Bilingual in English and French
Must have or be eligible for Secret Level CISD Clearance
