Project Accountant

What You'll Do:

• Manage the day-to-day billing process for assigned projects, ensuring invoices are accurate, complete, and submitted timely.
• Process all owner invoices timely and accurately, including all required sworn statements, information, and waivers when needed, including inter- and intra-Company Invoicing.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with owners/customers regarding outstanding payments, discrepancies, and billing issues.
• Process subcontractor invoices and requisitions, ensuring submissions are accurate and received in accordance with contract requirements and established due dates.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to obtain invoice approvals, resolve billing issues, and ensure timely payment processing.
• Upload and maintain invoices and supporting documentation in customer portals and other required systems.
• Assist with project reporting, including job cost tracking, analysis, and reporting, as well as Certified Payroll, EEO, and OCIP reporting as needed.

• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) is required. Experience with Viewpoint (Vista) is preferred.

Experience:

• Associate's degree in Accounting is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred; construction experience is a plus.
• 3 – 5 years in an accounting or job cost related role
