Supports moderately complex project(s), working under general supervision. Prepares various financial reports and provides analysis and recommendations based on findings. Requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner. Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices. Performs audits and generates special financial reports.

• Providing project accounting support across moderately complex projects.
• Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, analyses and forecasts.
• Reviewing financial results and providing clear recommendations based on identified trends and findings.
• Partnering with project managers and operational stakeholders to support effective financial and commercial decision-making.
• Maintaining complete and accurate financial records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal requirements.
• Monitoring project financial performance and identifying potential risks, issues and opportunities.
• Performing financial audits and reviews to support compliance, accuracy and effective financial control.
• Preparing ad hoc and specialist financial reports to meet business requirements.
• Applying professional accounting principles and concepts in a consistent, practical and effective manner.
• Identifying and delivering process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency and service quality.
• Collaborating extensively with operational teams and colleagues across an international, matrixed organisation.

Specific Skills Required

• 4-5 years experience of project accounting desirable, preferably in a multinational
• Demonstrable experience operating in a complex, fast paced, international business environment.
• Fluent in English + another language
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills essential
• Ability to manage details but also understand the “big picture”.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Identifies and executes initiatives and continuous improvements.
• Extensive operations interface and collaboration
• Business/Accounting/Engineering Bachelors Degree.
