Job Description
The Turner & Townsend Energy & Natural Resources Family is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our growing team. Please note: This role will be Houston, Texas based with travel to Eunice, New Mexico up to 20% of the time.
Roles and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Strong knowledge of the full procurement process from developing tender documents through to evaluation, negotiation and contract documentation and tracking
- Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
- RFP issue and clarifications
- Attention to structure and detail
- Strong collaboration, negotiation skills, and reporting knowledge
- Plant EPC technical interface, plant EPC commercial matter
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of procurement or commercial experience in utility-scale solar, wind, or BESS, including EPC or BOP contracting
- Demonstrated experience running competitive RFPs, bid leveling, and contract negotiation for construction scopes
- Working knowledge of HV interconnection, civil, and site preparation scopes, and of plant EPC interface management
Strongly preferred:
- Experience with ECI, PCSA, and unit rate and quantity true-up structures
- Knowledge of local and regional civil and clearing contractors in active markets
