Position Summary

The Procurement Specialist supports effective supply chain management and the plant operations team by coordinating day-to-day purchasing activities and supporting procurement processes across the organization. This position will support the Permian Basin region in West Texas and is responsible for obtaining quotes, processing purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, maintaining vendor information, supporting RFQs/RFIs/RFPs, and helping ensure the company receives quality products and services at competitive prices.

The Procurement Specialist works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse/Receiving, Accounts Payable, Management, and external suppliers and contractors. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

This position reports to the Procurement Manager and supports the procurement needs of company facilities.

Work Environment

This position supports operations throughout the Permian Basin region in West Texas and operates in a fast-paced industrial environment. The role may require interaction with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and other site personnel and may involve working in both office and industrial settings. The employee must follow all applicable safety requirements and procedures. The position may require walking to different areas of the plant or facility to support procurement activities and interact with site personnel. The employee must be able to safely navigate the work environment, including walking on industrial surfaces and accessing various areas of the facility as needed.
