Procurement Coordinator

Empath Health is seeking a Procurement Coordinator.  The Procurement Coordinator position will manage administrative, transactional and clerical tasks necessary to acquire goods and services for the procurement department.

What You’ll Do

• Process purchase orders/online orders for internal stakeholders.
• Verify information accuracy and confirm orders and deliveries.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders’ order status and delivery dates.
• Contact suppliers to update orders.
• Resolve shipping errors and address shortages.
• Acquire vendor information and submit to Accounts Payable for entry into Workday for new suppliers or existing suppliers.
• Partner with finance for accounts payable to resolve pricing discrepancies, and reconciling invoices.  
• Ensure all purchases adhere to company policies, budgetary limits and preferred supply lists.

What You'll Need

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Data entry skills.
• Attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Manage vendor set up and acquire necessary documentation such as payment information and W9’s.
• Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.
• Obtain order confirmations and ensure data accuracy.
