Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Position Responsibilities:Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supplyPrepares and executes proprietary information agreementsSupports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreementsCommunicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performanceThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Shift:This position is for 1st shift.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliersMore than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.Typical Education/Experience:Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Conflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
