Plant Controller

Job Title: Controller (Finance Group Leader)                      Reports To: OE Controller

Location: Rossford                                                                Department: Finance

Employees Supervised: Cost Accountant

Primary Duties:

• Provide pro-active, timely financial management and support to plant management
• Play a key role in liaising with local logistics, purchasing and production
• Collate, review and analyze monthly management data
• Deliver local management reporting
• Provide financial interface to production for cost analysis and product cost calculation
• Manage month end close process, reporting up to OE Controller.
• Oversees annual budget development process, with plant management support.
• Stock control and valuation, including inventory provisions
• Overhead spend control and analysis
• Fixed assets and capex control and reporting
• Continually improve accounting process and procedures for monthly and annual reporting
• Ensure data accuracy
• Adhere to all internal controls, and
• Investment analysis

Qualifications Required:

• Four year college degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the Accounting/Finance Area or equivalent
• Supervisory & Leadership Skills
• General knowledge in manufacturing
• Strong Communication and Excel Skills
• Occasional travel to other sites will also be required.

Qualifications Desired:

• MBA
• Three or more years experience in plant manufacturing including accounting supervision and exposure to a variety of material control functions

Work Environment Scope:

• Supports a manufacturing facility with multiple automated production cells and diverse customer requirements.
• Regular interaction with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Responsible for technical input on capital expenditures and equipment improvements.

Salary Range: $114,216.00 - $155,244.00
