The Job

As a Payroll Tax Analyst, you’ll be part of our Finance team. You’ll get to:

• Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll tax compliance for our organization.
• Manage all aspects of payroll tax compliance for multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Perform reconciliations, filings, and payments for federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Utilize ADP Smart Compliance to process tax filings and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and HR, to address payroll tax-related inquiries and issues.
• Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and reporting.
• Analyze payroll tax data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide support during payroll tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Support Equity related transactions.
• Provide Support on Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll tax administration.
• Proficiency in ADP Smart Compliance software.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll tax issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation a plus.
• Experience with ADP Global View also a plus.
• Candidate Must be flexible in work hours

The Salary range for this position is $62,200.00 - $100,200.00. This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker. The salary range listed in this job posting reflects the range for the primary location specified.
