Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for multiple companies
- Review, audit, and correct timecards for accuracy, including overtime and missed punches
- Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Calculate wages, bonuses, commissions, and other earnings adjustments
- Manage employee deductions including benefits, garnishments, and taxes
- Respond to employee and management payroll inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity within payroll systems
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
- Ensure all deadlines are met for payroll submission and processing
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements
- Experience with payroll systems (UKG)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
