Why this Part-time position may be right for you

This isn't a filing-and-coffee role. You'll sit inside the accounting function of a high-growth, highly regulated CDMO, an environment where accounting is mission-critical, because every asset, every dollar of working capital, and every dollar of revenue is tied to producing life-impacting medicine. You'll gain hands-on exposure as you support one or more pillars of corporate accounting, working in a modern SAP S/4HANA environment, and exposure to a real J-SOX audit, the kind of experience most graduates don't see until years into their careers.

Areas you might support

Fixed Assets

• Track the lifecycle of real capital   follow bioreactors, lab instruments, and facility build-outs from acquisition through capitalization, depreciation, and disposition.

• Reconcile the asset register against the general ledger and support periodic physical asset verification.

• See accounting meet engineering as multi-million-dollar manufacturing assets come online.

Working Capital Management

• Support AR, AP, and inventory analysis that keeps cash moving in a capital-intensive manufacturing business.

• Invoicing and Order Management processing and reporting

• Prepare reconciliations and aging reviews that protect the accuracy of the balance sheet.

Compliance & Controls

• Learn internal controls from the inside in a J-SOX dual-reporting environment governed by a publicly listed global parent.

• Participate in a live J-SOX audit   help gather evidence, walk through control narratives, and see how a control framework actually holds up under scrutiny.

• Support account audits and audit responses alongside internal and external auditors.

Revenue

• Explore how CDMO revenue works   how complex manufacturing contracts translate into recognized revenue under ASC 606.

• Assist with revenue reconciliations and the documentation that keeps reporting audit-ready.

• Connect the dots between a signed customer program and the numbers that land in the financial statements.

Cross-Functional & Special Projects

• Support financial reconciliations across multiple accounts and cycles.

• Contribute to program and process design   helping build and improve the workflows the team relies on.

• Build audit-ready documentation   workpapers, reference materials, and reconciliation support you can point to on your resume.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the processing and reconciling of accounting documents including, but not limited to, invoices, vendor statements, billing statements, and journal entries.

• Review and code financial information for accuracy.

• Prepare and test process documentation and control procedures

• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments and generate periodic billing statements and customer invoices.

• Post transactions and payments received to journals, ledgers, and other records.

• Drive responsible use of approved AI technology

• Reconcile accounts payable and revenue transactions

• Acquire, review, and organize  evidence to support audit activities

• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

• Research and resolve invoice and/or billing discrepancies and issues.

• Support the functional area(s) of assignment as needed performing a variety of accounting activities

• Prepare memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.

• Assist with month end closing.

• All other duties as assigned

• Analytical rigor   turning raw ledger data into clear, defensible conclusions.

• Professional communication and documentation standards that hold up to Big-4 auditors.

• An insider's understanding of how finance powers a regulated, life-sciences manufacturing business.

Who we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting.

• Solid grasp of core accounting fundamentals; proficient in Excel.

• Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how the numbers connect to the science.

• Dependable and professional, with an interest in audit, controls, or corporate accounting as a career path.

• CPA-track candidates and those interested in life sciences especially encouraged to apply.

• Location: Onsite at our College Station, TX campus (3939 Fujifilm Way)  fully local, no travel required.

• Format: Hands-on, mentored experience embedded within the Accounting team.

• Environment: Modern SAP S/4HANA finance systems in a fast-paced, global CDMO.
