Position Overview:
Brunner and Lay, located in Springdale, AR, is hiring a Manufacturing Procurement Coordinator to help manage materials and inventory essential to our operations. This role focuses on purchasing the right materials, keeping inventory at optimal levels, and ensuring cost efficiency. We’re looking for someone organized, detail-oriented, and ready to collaborate with teams and vendors to keep our processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase materials based on company needs, sales forecasts, and usage trends.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors to get the best pricing and lead times.
• Monitor inventory levels and place timely orders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Track supplier performance, address delays, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Analyze slow-moving or outdated materials and recommend ways to manage them.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier agreements.
• Assist with cost-saving projects, internal process improvements, and vendor negotiations.
• Support freight coordination, purchasing reports, and sales team travel arrangements when needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management (manufacturing experience is a plus!).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to analyze data to make sound purchasing decisions.
• Comfortable using procurement and inventory software or willing to learn.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
