The Opportunity That Awaits You

The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting is a highly hands-on technical accounting leader who personally executes and leads key elements of the Company's SEC reporting process and technical accounting activities. As PROCEPT grows revenue, expands into new markets, deepens penetration in existing markets, and operates at increasing volume and complexity, this individual will help ensure that accounting conclusions, disclosures, processes, and controls continue to meet the needs of a growing public company.

We are seeking a technically strong accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative and complex environment, learns new areas quickly, and contributes to the capabilities of those around them. The individual will combine detailed execution with technical leadership across SEC reporting and technical accounting; facilitate external audit execution; own and support financial controls; partner with control owners to promote risk-based execution and proportionate, audit-ready evidence; and translate complex accounting requirements into clear, practical guidance.

Through hands-on engagement, collaboration, coaching, and knowledge sharing, this individual will strengthen judgment, ownership, and capability across the accounting organization. The breadth and visibility of the role are intended to build readiness for broader accounting leadership. High-performing individuals may be considered as part of the broader talent pool for future controllership succession planning based on demonstrated performance, readiness, and organizational needs.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Involve

SEC REPORTING

• Personally prepare, review, and lead key elements of timely SEC filings using Workiva, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q and Form 8-K filings related to earnings releases.
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, MD&A variance analysis, and related supporting documentation, maintaining ownership of accuracy, completeness, and follow-through within assigned areas.
• Manage the day-to-day SEC reporting calendar and coordinate execution across Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, executive management, and the external auditors.
• Perform and coordinate Workiva filing activities, including inline XBRL tagging, validation, and EDGAR filing support, while remaining close to the underlying detail.
• Maintain disclosure checklists; monitor SEC, FASB, and peer-company reporting developments; communicate relevant implications; and recommend practical, scalable improvements to the external reporting process.

TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING

• Serve as a hands-on technical accounting resource to the Corporate Controller and accounting organization, developing credibility through sound analysis, judgment, and follow-through.
• Personally research and document complex and non-routine accounting matters, preparing clear, well-supported technical accounting memoranda that address authoritative guidance, relevant facts, analysis, judgments, and conclusions.
• Prepare, maintain, communicate, and periodically update formal accounting policies to support consistent application across the organization.
• Monitor newly issued accounting standards and support impact assessments, adoption planning, implementation, and related process and control changes.
• Proactively engage with business operations, Legal, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other stakeholders on developing transactions and emerging accounting matters.
• Translate accounting conclusions into practical requirements for journal entries, disclosures, operational processes, systems, and financial controls.
• Perform and review stock-based compensation accounting, including ESPP activity and related quarterly, annual, and proxy disclosures, using Fidelity and other relevant source information.

EXTERNAL AUDIT AND FINANCIAL CONTROL LEADERSHIP

• Serve as a day-to-day finance contact for the external auditors on SEC reporting, technical accounting, and related financial control matters.
• Facilitate external audit execution by preparing and coordinating key deliverables, addressing accounting and reporting questions, and supporting timely, well-grounded conclusions.
• Own and perform selected significant finance and accounting controls, including SOC 1 report reviews where assigned, and support management's assessment of internal control over financial reporting.
• Partner with control owners to promote risk-based execution, clear ownership, timely escalation, and proportionate audit-ready evidence.
• Share practical guidance with control owners on effective control performance and documentation, helping balance evidentiary sufficiency with practical, sustainable execution.
• Identify control, process, and documentation improvements and collaborate with stakeholders on practical remediation and continuous improvement.

OPERATIONAL ENGAGEMENT, CAPABILITY BUILDING, AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• Develop a practical understanding of PROCEPT's operations, products, systems, and international activities so that accounting conclusions and financial controls reflect the underlying business.
• Provide hands-on support in selected operational accounting areas, including preparation or review of journal entries and reconciliations for investments, debt, leases, and other assigned areas.
• Share knowledge and coach colleagues, where appropriate, on technical accounting, SEC reporting, financial controls, analytical thinking, and effective use of Excel.
• Apply approved AI capabilities, where appropriate, to strengthen accounting research, analysis, communication, and knowledge sharing while maintaining source validation, confidentiality, professional judgment, and ownership of conclusions.
• Identify opportunities to use modern tools and scalable practices without losing sight of accounting risk, data quality, control requirements, or operating practicality.
• Lead assigned workstreams through functional ownership, subject-matter expertise, collaboration, and influence across a growing and increasingly complex organization.

The Qualifications We Need You to Possess

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• At least four years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong technical accounting foundation, including demonstrated ability to research U.S. GAAP, evaluate complex facts, exercise sound judgment, and prepare clear technical accounting documentation.
• Meaningful experience with public-company financial reporting, SEC reporting requirements, or audits of SEC registrants.
• Understanding of financial statements, disclosure requirements, external audit execution, and internal control over financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to move assigned work from analysis and recommendation through stakeholder alignment, implementation, and ownership of outcomes.
• Strong leadership potential and collaborative influence, including the ability to share knowledge, build consensus, challenge constructively, and translate complex requirements into practical guidance.
• Strong project management, written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to remain effective in a dynamic, growing, and fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity and willingness to develop effective, responsible use of approved AI tools and other modern capabilities in accounting knowledge work and analysis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND DIFFERENTIATORS

• Big Four or comparable public accounting experience, particularly serving public-company or SEC registrant clients, is strongly preferred.
• Approximately one year of experience operating at the Manager level or equivalent is a meaningful differentiator but is not required.
• Direct experience with SEC filings, Workiva, inline XBRL tagging, and EDGAR filing activities.
• Experience in medical devices, manufacturing, life sciences, or another regulated product environment.
• Experience supporting international operations or accounting issues arising from global expansion.
• Advanced analytical use of Excel. Experience with Power Query is a plus, as is a demonstrated willingness to develop that capability.
• Demonstrated success applying approved AI-enabled tools to accounting research, analysis, communication, or knowledge sharing. This is a differentiator, not a requirement.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (If Applicable)

This role initially has no direct reports. The Senior Manager may lead assigned projects and guide colleagues through functional ownership, subject-matter expertise, collaboration, coaching, and influence across the accounting organization and with key stakeholders.
