We are seeking an Assistant Vice President to join the Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG), the largest real estate private equity fund administrator by funds administered. What it Means to Work for EisnerAmper: You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry You will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance You will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards We believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutions We understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation Showing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work What Work You Will be Responsible For: Build from the ground up a major SEC listed non-traded REIT Build and maintain relationships with one or more clients, managing client expectations, and meeting all client deliverables Manage and review the daily cash, accounting and financial reporting for the REIT Prepare and review financial statements including but not limited to balance sheet, income statement, stockholder equity, statement of cash flows Prepare and review general ledger and work paper files including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals, etc. Preparation and review of the day-to-day operations of the REIT Preparation of required monthly share class pricing Help manage quarterly, year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field is required 5+ years of fund accounting experience, including experience with REITs and/or real estate private equity funds Financial statement preparation experience Preferred/Desired Qualifications: CPA, CFA or parts passed towards completion Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field Experience using Yardi including Fixed Asset, Debt module Experience with NAV calculations, including management and performance fee calculations Joint Venture/ Non-controlling Interest experience Working knowledge of Derivatives, Interest Rate swap, Credit Default Swaps Loans, Tax Liens, MSRs experience EisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
