Summary

The Fuel, Stations and Treasury Accounting Manager is responsible for business and accounting functions within the Fuel Accounting, Stations Accounting and Treasury Accounting areas. This position is responsible for reporting the Company’s fuel expense; ensuring fuel inventory, fuel prepaid, stations accruals, stations expense, treasury activity and related general ledger account balances are properly stated. The role supervises month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, SOX compliance, audit support, process improvements and the development of team members. This position requires the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, accountability and dependability.

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Strong accounting background. In depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("US GAAP"). Experience with Financial Process Controls. SAP Experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Proven ability with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple and competing tasks simultaneously and work closely with various departments and team members.

Preferred Requirements

CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA certification.

May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
