Accounting Manager

Our client is hiring for an Accounting Manager in Atlanta, GA. Our client is a growing real estate investment manager focused on the travel and hospitality sector, with billions in assets under management and a track record of recognition as a top employer in its industry. This role sits at the center of the accounting function, leading financial reporting, accounts payable, and treasury processes while partnering closely with senior leadership, corporate finance, and asset management teams. The Accounting Manager will also serve as the team's technology champion, applying automation and AI tools to streamline the close, reporting, and payables cycles. It's a high-visibility opportunity for someone who wants to modernize core accounting processes while working alongside an experienced leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee corporate books and records, account reconciliations, and financial reporting delivered to senior leadership
• Manage corporate accounts payable coding and review, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation across entities
• Coordinate fund accounting activities with the fund administrator, including closings, financial statements, and investor reporting
• Lead process automation efforts by identifying manual work across close, reporting, and payables and implementing AI and workflow tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, with an active CPA license
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred)
• Experience with accounting/financial systems such as Yardi and investor portal platforms such as Juniper Square
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated interest in applying automation or AI tools to accounting workflows
