Band 35, AXP Financial Accounting and Close, Global Record to Report Controllership Position Description The incumbent will be accountable for accurate, efficient and timely accounting and reporting of revenue and expense accounting for Travel and Lifestyle Services and other AXP processes across major Report Lines consistently ensuring strong controls and compliance and meeting related GAAP accounting guidance, policies and procedures. The role requires leading the team for sharp focus on the core delivery and consistently pursue improvement and innovation through process redesign and automation. The incumbent will be required to provide onsite leadership support and guidance to his immediate team and beyond. A key focus of this role is to use the data and knowledge about Financials to create business insights for partners. Purpose of the Role The role is required to deliver accurate and timely accounting of revenue and expense accounting for Travel and Lifestyle Services (TLS) and other AXP processes for key Report Lines and related analytics and reporting while ensuring strong controls and compliance with all related GAAP accounting guidance, policies and procedures.
