Lead Finance Systems Analyst

Position Summary

The Lead Financial Systems Analyst will serve as a core technical and operational SME within our Financial Systems Center of Excellence (COE). In this role, you will lead application administration, end-user support, and continuous improvement for our enterprise Oracle Cloud platform (ERP & EPM). You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth execution across monthly financial closes, forecasting cycles, and long-range planning initiatives while overseeing system regression testing and compliance protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• System Administration & Operational Support: Maintain system-level metadata, mappings, and data integrations. Monitor account combinations, execute system rules, troubleshoot technical errors, and resolve ticketed issues during core financial close and forecasting windows.

• Release Management & Testing: Lead end-to-end regression testing strategies (manual and automated) for recurring Oracle Cloud application updates and releases. Evaluate, test, and implement new system features.

• Process Enhancement & Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional Finance and Information Systems (IS) teams to design, test, and deploy process improvements. Develop comprehensive training documentation and change management communications for business end-users.

• Compliance & Governance: Execute established Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and IT General Controls (ITGC). Support internal and external audit inquiries by providing accurate documentation and system reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in financial systems administration, Record-to-Report (R2R), or Plan-to-Perform (P2P) process workflows (e.g., consolidations, forecasting, long-range planning).

• Strong foundational understanding of chart of accounts (COA) structure and its direct integration with primary financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Proven track record of identifying, diagnosing, and optimizing financial system workflows to improve business efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct technical experience managing Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle EPM Cloud modules.

• Proficiency with business intelligence and reporting tools such as OTBI, Narrative Reporting, Spotfire, or equivalent enterprise reporting software.

• Prior experience executing release management or automated test scripts for cloud-based software updates.
