Black Diamond Group’s Finance department has a full-time position for a Junior Accountant at our Head Office in downtown Calgary, AB.

This role is hybrid - in-office with 20% flexibility to work from home.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Junior Accountant is part of the Corporate Accounting team and supports core month-end, general ledger, reconciliation, intercompany, and reporting activities. This role is responsible for preparing entries, maintaining accurate working papers, and supporting audit requests. The successful candidate is a fast learner, detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven accounting environment.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional with a strong foundation in general accounting principles, who excels at reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end activities. They will be highly organized, eager to learn, and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and strong documentation. A collaborative team player, they will communicate effectively across departments, support audit and reporting requirements, and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
