By the end of this internship, you'll have: Contributed to tackling real business challenges Built practical skills through hands-on experience and collaboration Gained exposure to different functions, teams and ways of working Expanded your professional network across Unilever Developed a broader understanding of innovation and business at scale Day-to-Day Responsibilities As a Finance Business Partnering Intern at Unilever, you will work alongside finance professionals to support business performance, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence. You will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of finance, commercial strategy, and business partnering while collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and markets. Depending on the team and business priorities, your responsibilities may include: Supporting financial planning, forecasting and performance management activities to help drive business decision-making. Analyzing financial, operational and market data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and business insights. Assisting in the preparation of reports, dashboards and presentations that support management reviews and strategic discussions. Contributing to performance analyses across areas such as sales, profitability, costs, investments, supply chain operations or business growth initiatives. Supporting business cases, investment evaluations and ad hoc analyses to inform decision-making and resource allocation. Collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Tax, and other business functions on cross-functional projects. Identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve reporting processes through digital tools and analytics solutions. Supporting compliance, governance and risk management activities where relevant to the business area. What You'll Learn During this internship, you will have the opportunity to: Develop a strong understanding of how finance supports strategic and operational decision-making within a global FMCG business. Gain exposure to key finance processes, including forecasting, budgeting, performance management and business planning. Strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills through hands-on work with financial, operational and market data. Learn how finance partners with different business functions to drive growth, improve performance and deliver business value. Build experience with digital finance tools, reporting solutions and data visualization platforms. Take ownership of projects and analyses while working closely with experienced finance professionals in an international environment. Develop stakeholder management, communication and business partnering skills that are critical for a successful career in finance. What we're looking for: Available for 5-6 months starting February-March 2027 (minimum 32-40 hours per week) Currently enrolled in a (HBO) Dutch university, Bachelor's program (3rd or 4th year) or a Master's program Eager to learn, challenge yourself, and take ownership of impactful projects Available to work on site 2-3 days a week at our Rotterdam Office What's in it for you? €625 gross internship allowance per month Travel reimbursement if you do not have a student travel card Public Holidays + additional days off Access to (mental) health and wellbeing resources On-the-job coaching, regular feedback and support from experienced colleagues Ready to take the next step in your career?
