A rapidly growing company is seeking a highly experienced finance and accounting leader to provide immediate hands-on leadership across accounting operations, financial reporting, process improvement, and system optimization. This individual will partner closely with the CFO, President, and leadership team while assessing the current accounting infrastructure, improving efficiencies, and helping the organization better leverage its NetSuite investment.
The accounting team is stable and capable, but many processes remain manual and there is significant opportunity to automate workflows, strengthen controls, improve reporting, and elevate overall finance operations. The ideal consultant will possess strong executive presence, exceptional accounting expertise, and the ability to influence both staff and leadership in a fast-paced growth environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on leadership of the accounting and finance function.
Evaluate and improve month-end close, reporting, and financial processes.
Optimize NetSuite functionality and drive greater utilization of existing technology.
Identify automation opportunities and reduce reliance on manual processes.
Develop management reporting and KPIs to support a growing organization.
Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
Mentor and develop existing accounting staff.
Serve as a strategic business partner to the President and leadership team.
Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities as needed.
Creating/documenting SOO particularly around account reconciliation
Travel periodically to GA and other operating locations as required.

Ideal Background

15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
Prior Controller, VP Finance, or CFO experience.
Deep technical accounting expertise and strong financial reporting background.
Advanced NetSuite experience with a track record of optimizations, or process improvements.
Demonstrated success leading organizations through growth and operational change.
Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with owners, executives, and operational leaders.
Comfortable operating in entrepreneurial environments where leadership may be highly involved in day-to-day decisions.
Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
