Join Rio Tinto Bell Bay and take ownership of the high-voltage systems that power one of Tasmania's most significant industrial operations. This is an opportunity to apply your electrical expertise in a safety-focused, technically challenging role that directly supports the production of aluminium for customers around the world. As a Power Controller at Bell Bay Aluminium, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe operation of high-voltage assets that support continuous aluminium production, while contributing to a culture of safety, care and excellence. Where you’ll be working

Our Bell Bay Aluminium smelter began operating in 1955 and holds a unique place in Tasmanian and Australian history as the first aluminium smelter in the Southern Hemisphere. Based approximately 50 kilometres from Launceston in Northern Tasmania, the smelter produces primary aluminium products. We have a long and proud history in Tasmania of supporting our community and are committed to building enduring relationships built on mutual respect, collaboration, and genuine partnership.
