Job Summary: Job Description: The Group Finance Director owns financial strategy, statutory reporting and financial governance across the Group led by Eva Wittka (Group Leader), comprising SISCOG (Portugal), AEP (Italy), Taranto Systems (UK) and Pcentra (Israel). The role is the senior financial authority for the Group, providing the Group Leader and the BU Managing Directors with the financial insight and control needed to run their businesses, and works on a dotted-line basis with the Portfolio CFO for the Eskenazi Portfolio, including on the financial integration of newly acquired businesses. Success looks like accurate, timely consolidated reporting across all Group businesses, a strong control environment, disciplined acquisition integration, and a well-supported Group Financial Controller delivering consistent standards across the Group. Accountable for the financial strategy, statutory reporting, financial risk management and governance across the Group. Line manages the Group Financial Controller, acts as the primary financial partner to the Group Leader and BU Managing Directors, and works on a dotted-line basis with the Portfolio CFO for the Eskenazi Portfolio. Areas of Responsibility Group Financial Strategy & Planning Set the financial strategy for the Group, aligned to Modaxo's financial policies. Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range financial planning across all four businesses. Own the Group's Quarterly Strategic Review (QSR) process — sales pipeline and cost analysis, forecast development and identification of improvement opportunities — and ensure QSR action points are followed through. Recommend and lead initiatives to improve ROIC, working capital and growth performance across the Group; advise the Group Leader and BU Managing Directors on market and deal pricing for new business. Statutory Reporting, Audit & Compliance Own the accuracy, timeliness and quality of consolidated statutory reporting across the Group, including Group-level financial performance reporting to Modaxo Finance. Oversee the internal and statutory audit process for all business units in the Group, ensuring clean audit outcomes and actionable improvement plans. Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements in the respective business unit countries, and the accuracy of revenue recognition (IFRS 15) and project accounting across all four businesses. Maintain a consistent chart of accounts and reporting calendar across the Group. Financial Risk & Governance Establish and maintain the financial control framework across all four businesses. Identify, monitor and mitigate financial and commercial risk across the Group; review bid and contract terms with functional leads to flag financial risk ahead of submission. Approve and monitor capital expenditure and investment cases in line with Group policy. Escalate material financial risk to the Group Leader and, on a dotted-line basis, the Portfolio CFO (Eskenazi Portfolio) and Modaxo Finance, as required. Finance Leadership, Business Partnering & Integration Line manage the Group Financial Controller, setting clear objectives and a development plan, and act as the day-to-day escalation point for judgement calls across the four businesses. Partner directly with the BU Managing Directors and Finance Heads of each business unit; local finance leads dotted-line report to this role. Build finance capability and consistent ways of working across the Group as it scales, including monitoring local tax and compliance and supporting local teams with non-compliance issues. Support the Portfolio CFO on acquisition due diligence and lead the financial integration of newly acquired businesses into the Group — evaluating and hiring finance resource, migrating finance systems and processes, and educating acquired management teams on Group KPIs and finance requirements. Profile You will be an experienced finance leader with a track record of owning financial control and reporting across multiple businesses or entities, ideally within a multi-entity or private equity-backed group structure spanning more than one country. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role spanning multiple business units or legal entities. Track record of managing statutory reporting, external audit and IFRS 15 revenue recognition across more than one jurisdiction. Experience building and leading a finance function, including direct line management of a Financial Controller. Strong working knowledge of financial control frameworks and risk management. Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and holding a Group Leader and BU Managing Directors to account on financial matters. Desirable: experience in a software, technology or B2G/B2B services business; experience integrating newly acquired businesses into a Group finance function; experience working across Portugal, Italy, the UK and/or Israel. About You The following Modaxo Leadership Mindsets are most relevant to this role, drawn from the Group's Leadership Mindsets Framework. Proficiency levels below reflect the expectation for a Group-level finance leadership role (Foundation → Intermediate → Advanced → Expert): Operational Excellence (Advanced — Commercial Acumen): you apply deep commercial insight to resource allocation, investment decisions and growth planning across the four businesses, not just to reporting accuracy. Accountability (Advanced — Execution): you lead the Group Financial Controller and BU finance contacts to exceed goals consistently, building systems that sustain high performance over time. Integrity (Advanced — Transparency): you create an environment across the Group where openness is the norm, addressing control or compliance concerns proactively rather than reactively. Strategic Execution (Advanced — Long-term Planning): you shape multi-year financial direction for the Group, anticipating risk and dependency across all four businesses rather than planning BU by BU. Practical This is a remote role, based within Europe. Regular travel is required to all four Modaxo business units in the Group: SISCOG (Portugal), AEP (Italy), Taranto Systems (UK) and Pcentra (Israel). Worker Type: Regular Number of Openings Available: 1
