Our mission is to serve as an independent source of stories, news, information and entertainment for Ireland, reflecting the diversity of its people and providing experiences that enrich the lives of all.
This sense of purpose motivates us to deliver to the highest standards in an environment that is collaborative, supportive and engaging. Attracting and retaining the best talent is key to delivering for our audiences. We want our people to thrive in an environment that values their contribution.
Meet the team
Finance supports RTÉ’s public-service mission by providing strong financial stewardship, trusted insight and disciplined management of the organisation’s resources.
As part of a review of the Finance operating model, the existing Head of Finance role has been restructured and retitled as Group Finance Director. The revised role brings together accountability for the Group’s core finance activities, reflecting both the scale and complexity of the organisation and the strategic importance of Finance to RTÉ’s transformation. As a replacement role within the existing Finance leadership structure, it is designed to strengthen the function’s capacity to deliver an effective, responsive and high-quality service across the organisation.
We are now looking for an experienced finance leader to take on this pivotal role, leading RTÉ’s core finance function and playing a central part in financial strategy, transformation and long-term sustainability.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and based in Dublin, the Group Finance Director will oversee financial control, reporting, planning, treasury, tax, audit, financial risk and finance operations across the RTÉ Group. The role will work closely with the Leadership Team, Board and Audit & Risk Committee and represent RTÉ with government departments, regulators, external auditors, funders and other key stakeholders.
