The Office of Research Administration (ORA) has an exciting opportunity for a Grant Accountant at the Coral Gables Campus.

CORE JOB SUMMARY                                                                                                                                    

The Grant Accountant monitors sponsored research accounts from award set up through closeout while adhering to University, State and Federal policies.  This position acts as a liaison between the university departments and auditors and plays an important role in all post-award compliance to ensure that budgets are not overspent, grant periods are adhered to, costs are allowable under the grant and accounting records are maintained in good order and for the proper time.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS                                                                                                         

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Certification and Licensing:

CPA certification preferred

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
