What you’ll be doing:

Process grain accounting transactions Interpret documents from customers (invoices, statements, checks, etc.) Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors Execute timely advances, payments and invoices in grain accounting software Identify and resolve issues that may be found in your day-to-day processing Maintain status of easily accessible reports, files and records.

Provide great customer service by working directly with producers regarding settlements, payments, and account questions

Purchase farm products/commodities such as – but not limited to – wheat, corn, sorghum, and/or soybeans Collaborate with team to properly manage inbound and outbound truck schedule/logistics Assist in weighing and grading of inbound/outbound grain Work on special projects under direct supervision and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Requirements to be successful in this position:

High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with grain accounting is preferred. Proficiency in math Experience with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel. Great interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail
