Senior Capex Controller
As Senior Capex Controller, you will play a critical role in shaping how APM Terminals plans, governs, and manages capital investments globally. Working within the Business Finance & FP&A function, you will own the global CAPEX planning, forecasting, and performance management agenda while partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Asset Management, Procurement, Engineering, Investments, and terminal leadership.
You will help establish and maintain global standards for investment planning, reporting, and performance management, ensuring leadership has access to consistent and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and effective capital allocation. This is a highly visible role with close interaction with the CFO and senior leaders, providing transparency on investment performance, cash flow implications, and portfolio priorities that support APM Terminals' long-term growth ambitions.

Work closely with senior leaders, including the CFO, on strategic investment planning and decision support.
Contribute to the development of global standards, governance frameworks, and performance management practices.
Collaborate with international stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Asset Management, and terminal operations.
Be part of a continuous improvement culture focused on strengthening forecasting, transparency, automation, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain global standards for CAPEX forecasting, investment cash flow planning, and reporting.
Own the annual CAPEX budget cycle and CAPEX components of the strategic five-year Business Plan.
Lead the global CAPEX forecasting process, providing accurate and timely visibility of expenditure and cash flow performance.
Drive long-term investment planning by leveraging asset replacement cycles and aligning capital allocation with business priorities.
Own the CAPEX performance management framework, including monthly and quarterly reviews of investment performance and forecast accuracy.
Partner with Procurement, Asset Management, Finance Business Partners, and regional teams to strengthen planning assumptions, governance, and reporting consistency.
Enhance investment insights, analytics, reporting capabilities, and digital solutions to improve decision-making and transparency.

Degree in Finance and Accounting, preferably MBA, M.Sc., ACCA, or a similar qualification, with strong knowledge of Finance and application of IFRS from reporting to valuation.
At least 7 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Partnering, Controlling, Investment Finance, or related disciplines.
Proven experience leading planning, forecasting, performance management, and cross-functional initiatives in an international environment.
Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on approach.
High level of integrity, dependability, urgency, and results orientation, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience within a capital-intensive industry such as logistics, infrastructure, transportation, industrial, or energy is advantageous
