GBTS Senior Billing Specialist

The Senior Billing Specialist, a pivotal member of our finance team, will be responsible for the oversight of all payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This person will oversee a team of 2-3 payroll associates and provide guidance through training and overall performance management initiatives. They will also verify data integrity through associated audit procedures and ensure appropriate journal entries are made to the general ledger. They will be responsible for all aspects of Payroll and serve in the capacity of a hands-on individual contributor role reporting into the VP of Finance. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent analytical skills with the ability to spot numerical errors, develop strong relationships with coworkers and managers and work as a subject matter professional on payroll functions and issues. This role will also assist in billing functions when related to payroll.
