About the Role
Mosaic Home Services is an award winning, multi-brand home services company. We are looking for an intermediate Full Cycle Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our finance operations. Reporting to the financial controller, you’ll own day-to-day full cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities and take real pride in keeping the numbers clean, the deadlines met, and the team informed.We're looking for someone who has already built solid bookkeeping fundamentals and is ready to step into full ownership of core processes with minimal hand-holding. You'll be supported, but not micromanaged — this role suits someone proactive, detail-oriented, and who takes genuine ownership of their work.What You'll Own
Bookkeeping
- Weekly reconciliation of all bank and credit card accounts
- Maintain clean and accurate books: correct and consistent GL coding, proper understanding of GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles), tax recorded appropriately on all transactions.
- Enter recurring monthly entries independently (e.g., revenue imports from operational software, intercompany charge backs, etc.)
- Review P&L and Balance Sheets for variances between periods and be able to identify and present inconsistencies clearly.
Core Process Ownership
- Payroll: Process in house payroll via Quickbooks Desktop
- Accounts Payable: Review, request approval, and submit invoices for payment per defined terms; manage vendor statements; expedite discount windows; obtain and confirm clearance documentation where required. Issue remittances for payments made weekly.
- Accounts Receivable: Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances across all brands, make reminder calls or send follow up emails when needed.
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of full cycle bookkeeping experience in a small-to-medium business environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise — confident and self-sufficient, able to troubleshoot independently
- Demonstrated experience with payroll processing, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations
- Strong understanding of GL coding, period accuracy, and multi-entity bookkeeping
- High attention to detail with a consistent track record of accurate, error-free work
- Ability to self-manage recurring deadlines and competing priorities without reminders, organizational skills are a must.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jobber, Dext, Humi, and/or Hubspot
- Exposure to construction, or trades-based job costing and progress invoicing
- Familiarity with multi-brand or multi-entity bookkeeping environments
- Post-secondary education in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

- Taken full ownership of bookkeeping, payroll, AP, AR, and invoicing processes across all brands
- Demonstrated confident management of bookkeeping processes
- Established yourself as a reliable, proactive contributor to the finance team
