About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support a successful business owner and his growing client portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned bookkeeping professional who enjoys working independently, managing multiple financial priorities, and building strong client relationships.
This role will begin as part-time with strong potential to transition into a full-time position as business needs continue to grow. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and confident managing the full cycle of bookkeeping with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple client accounts and business entities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Process and reconcile credit card transactions and bank statements
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
- Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related reporting
- Prepare financial documents and reports for CPA review and tax preparation
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and account discrepancies
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and maintain compliance with accounting standards
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial information, documentation, and account updates
- Support the business owner with administrative accounting functions and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting/bookkeeping role
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced in accounting software such as QuickBooks (Online/Desktop preferred)
- Experience managing multiple accounts or clients preferred
- Strong reconciliation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism with confidential financial information
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
