Job Summary<\/h3>

Provide accounting and auditing services to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve controls and deliver timely financial insights.<\/p>

Main Duties<\/h3>

• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements, working papers and audit documentation in accordance with applicable accounting standards.<\/li>
• Plan and conduct external and internal audit procedures to assess financial accuracy, risk exposure and effectiveness of internal controls.<\/li>
• Perform month -end and year -end closing activities, reconciliations and variance analyses to support reporting timelines.<\/li>
• Prepare tax filings, schedules and related documentation and assist with tax planning and compliance activities.<\/li>
• Identify process improvements and provide recommendations to strengthen financial controls and cost management.<\/li>
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders, and assist in implementing corrective actions.<\/li><\/ul>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  • Post -secondary diploma or degree in accounting, finance or a related field.<\/li>
  • Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA) completed or in progress is preferred.<\/li>
  • Relevant experience in accounting or auditing, including preparation and review of financial statements.<\/li>
  • Proficiency with accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.<\/li>
  • Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and regulatory requirements, such as IFRS or ASPE.<\/li>
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, effective communication skills and commitment to confidentiality.<\/li><\/ul>
