Job Summary<\/h3>

Provide accurate financial record -keeping and support accounting operations for departments or clients. Perform routine accounting tasks including transaction entry, reconciliations, and preparation of supporting documentation.<\/p>

Main Duties<\/h3>

• Record daily financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.<\/li>
• Prepare and process invoices, expense claims, purchase orders, and payment records.<\/li>
• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and sub -ledgers to ensure accuracy of accounts.<\/li>
• Assist with month -end and year -end closing activities and prepare supporting schedules.<\/li>
• Maintain organized financial files, documentation, and electronic records for audits and reporting.<\/li>
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding account balances, billing, and payment status.<\/li><\/ul>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  • Secondary school diploma; post -secondary certificate or coursework in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field preferred.<\/li>
  • One to two years of related accounting or clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>
  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping principles, general ledger functions, and basic accounting practices.<\/li>
  • Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel.<\/li>
  • Strong attention to detail, numeracy skills, and ability to manage confidential information.<\/li>
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients.<\/li><\/ul>
