Job Description
Develops and implements the Exchange financial analysis branch. Works on financial analysis, presentations, financial planning, and government reporting. Works on special projects in the financial analysis area. Prepares quarterly ad hoc financial estimates and analysis. Prepares presentations and proposals for senior management. Works across directorates to ensure that financial implications of business decisions are considered. Conveys financial consequences of different operating decisions and aid company leaders in making key operational decisions. Leads planning cycles to include annual financial plan and long-range plan development.
This Financial Analyst directly supports the SFD Directorate
Job Qualifications
Six years of experience in corporate financial planning/reporting, financial analysis, capital budgeting, and/or financial modeling.
One year of experience at the pay band 4-2/4-3 level or equivalent industry experience is required.
OR
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, business management, or economics, and four years of experience in corporate financial planning/reporting, financial analysis, capital budgeting, and /or financial modeling.
One year of experience at the pay band 4-2/4-3 level or equivalent industry experience is required.

  • CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST (CFA) - Preferred

  • Major Duties
    Manages strategic initiatives analyses by assessing financial impacts, conveying results, and proposing recommendations to aid in business decisions.
    Performs financial and trend analytics and represents the department in corporate meetings to discuss potential business initiatives and corporate decisions. Develops financial plans and strategic long-range plans.
    Reviews and prepares executive level financial proposals and presentations, conveying options and projections for strategic objectives.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
