Location: On-site 4 days per week - Farmers Branch, TX (Dallas, TX)
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and IT-savvy Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in a finance, accounting, or analytical role and is eager to expand their knowledge of corporate finance within a complex, multi-billion-dollar organization
Opportunities include working with executive leadership, diving deep into financial topics and how they shape the business, Leveraging AI to automate tasks and build new insights as well as working with a high-performance team that fosters personal and professional development.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
General Project Management
Prepare and validate capital expenditure requests for executive approval
Executing month end FP&A close activities
Ownership of Vendor setup and Invoice processing
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Reviewing General and Administrative expenses and comparing them to Forecast and Budget
Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends and performance insights
Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate financial performance
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
Work closely with the accounting department to understand current month’s entries
Database and Systems Management
Maintain semantic models across Power BI, Excel and Anaplan
Develop financial reports utilizing multiple datasets
Leverage Enterprise ChatGPT and Co-pilot systems to create tools to uncover new insights and automate tasks
Document business process flows and how they interact with our underlying information systems financial performance of products, projects, or business units.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or a related field.
Familiarity with databases, data structures, and AI-assisted analysis tools/prompting.
Basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours during peak workload periods.
PREFFERED:
CPA, MBA, or CFA are a plus.
