Summary: The Financial Analyst supports the Corporate Finance and Accounting team with responsibility for financial planning, reporting and analysis. This includes budgeting/forecasting, month-end variance analysis, and decision support/business opportunity analysis 

Essential Duties:

• Provides financial support, management reports and analysis to the management team to assist is assigned decision making.
• Generates monthly financial variance analysis. Coordinate with accounting, business partners on financial, cost and accounting issues. Identifies and recommends solutions to problems. Supports the management team in the development of the annual operating plan and quarterly financial forecasts by providing data, analysis, and recommendations. Perform and hoc reporting and analysis.
• Prepare all necessary journal entries for the month end close.

Experience/Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
• 3-5 years business finance or other relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical skills along with strong knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of product cost accounting and non-standard analysis is desired but not required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Results must be oriented with strong attention to detail and deadlines. Systems application experience on X3 and Power BI, is a plus.
