Prime Finance is looking for an innovative, data-driven Financial Manager to support some of the fastest growing businesses at Amazon. This is a high-visibility role that offers opportunity for career growth; the role requires a self-driven candidate with a mix of business judgement, ability to work with complex data, controllership and automation skills. This role will support and design Prime P&L where Prime Program has been launched, and build/improve metrics to evaluate program performance across countries. This role will partner across functional teams and help create long term forecasts for the customer-loved Prime Program. If you enjoy using analytical skills to shape strategy and building scalable tools to drive quick decisions this will be a good match.Key job responsibilities- Facilitating financial review meetings with Business and Finance stakeholders to support decision making.- Driving thought leadership in the area of quantifying the value of distinct customer behaviors.- Creating and improving financial metrics, reports and scorecards.- Developing and leveraging relationships within a highly matrixed organizational structure.- Being comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management.- Ability to operate in fast-paced environment- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience- MBA, or CPA- Knowledge of SQL/ETL- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of resultsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
