The Finance Business Partner for the Ross Heart Hospital (“Finance Business Partner”) is a partner in support of the academic medical center’s tripartite mission, supporting Ross Heart Hospital (“the Ross”).
Position Summary
Serve as a key member of the Ross finance leadership team, providing strategic direction and oversight of financial operations, governance, and reporting.
- Lead Ross Heart Hospital financial operations, including month-end close, general ledger integrity, internal controls, and revenue management to ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability.
- Direct Ross Heart Hospital budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning, delivering data-driven insights on cost drivers and supporting enterprise strategic decision-making.
- Partner with executive, operational, and clinical leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights, supporting performance improvement and strategic initiatives.
- Drive margin improvement and cost optimization for the Ross Heart Hospital through advanced analytics, benchmarking, and collaboration with supply chain and clinical teams.
- Oversee capital planning and resource allocation for the Ross Heart Hospital
- Fosters a culture of accountability, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required; Master’s Degree is desirable. A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in a finance role in a health care environment.
