The Director, TAS // Federal Transaction Tax represents a unique opportunity to assume a wide range of responsibilities and make a significant impact. The Director will be a leader serving private equity, direct lenders and corporate clients by supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions, transaction structuring, and transaction-related modeling. This role is intended for a strong federal transaction tax generalist with meaningful experience in partnership taxation and partnership tax modeling. The Director will report directly to senior leaders and oversee a broad range of responsibilities across buy-side and sell-side transactions, post-closing integration, restructuring, and related advisory workstreams. You will lead key initiatives, manage discrete workstreams and work closely with senior leaders. $375,000 - $575,000 a year

In accordance with pay transparency laws in the City of New York and the State of California, Portage Point provides a good-faith cash compensation range for this position. This range represents the cash compensation (base plus bonus) that the firm reasonably expects to pay upon hire, based on good-faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting. The final compensation within this range will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, education, training, experience and location. In addition to cash compensation, Portage Point may offer comprehensive benefits and equity participation, which are not reflected in the pay range above.
